One of the most common kind of journal posts around here involve making a comeback on deviantART. Sadly, they often bring false hope and the posters may disappear soon again. Today it's my turn to write such a post, but I hope I can actually manage to stay. I haven't posted anything in a good while, but I actually have several works ready for uploading at this point. They are however Christmas gifts and made in traditional media and will be given physically, therefore I will wait until after Christmas to make sure the recipients don't find them until after they have actually received them.

One thing I've noticed is that a lot or even most of the people I used to follow - and who used to follow me -  have also been more or less absent. So I'm sending out a call here: Who's still around?

One thing I did before I disappeared was getting myself a premium membership which I unfortunately wasn't able to take much advantage of. There was a "give one - get one" deal on premium memberships back then, so I hope the given one was less of a waste (and so it seems!) One of the main reasons I haven't been active here is due to studying. But there were also other factors which are out of the way now, so I think I will have more time to draw. As in something more dA worthy than some rough sketches, I never stop completely. I might even do some wood carving.
I'm thinking about getting the premium membership again in order to encourage myself and also noticed the very same deal is back again for Christmas. It was hard to decide whom to give it to last year, so I decided that anyone brave enough to ask will get it. "First to the mill gets to grind", as we say in Sweden. I'm only asking that you are somewhat active and don't currently have premium.
